ARMINERA 2013 “The Mining Show in Argentina” Where? Buenos Aires Why? Because the mining business is growing each day more in Argentina, as well as it keeps growing also in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, all over South America the mining business keeps growing fast. Who? UBC Bearings and Repint its representatives in Argentina for 10 years now: Comments: Arminera has become the most outstanding event in the sector in Argentina, the ideal place to show state-of-the-art technology, equipment and services, playing a major role in gathering the leading representatives of the industry. Arminera 2013 took place at Centro Costa Salguero, Buenos Aires on May 7th to 9th, during the three days, joined in its four pavilions 284 exhibitors, which 217 were from Argentina and 67 foreign companies, with a considerable increase of the participating countries, as Austria, Germany, Brazil, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, USA, Mexico, Italy, Peru, Poland, Russia, South Africa, and Great Britain. At Arminera we could find related business in reference an Equipment, Machinery, Tools, Utility Vehicles, Inputs, Accessories, Technology, Services, Laboratories, Logistics, Suppliers, Lubricants, and Consultants The exhibition was visited by 9,161 professionals. Compare to Arminera 2011, there was an increase of 11% of visitors, 12,5% exhibitors, 13,5% foreigners and 12,5% nationals. It was a great success. Repint had its own booth, introducing UBC Bearings in this market field where most of big miners attended it. At our stand we received the following main visitors: Agents: Bosch Rexroth (San Juan), Segufer (Buenos Aires and San Juan) Distributors from Argentina: Accinsa, Argendrill, PMH, Rodaever, Rodball, Rulemanes Alvear, Rulemar and others. Distributors from other countries: BC Bearing Chile and Multitek do Brasil also visited us in Arminera. OEMs from Argentina: Lufkin (oil pumps), Cummins (compressors), Innova (conveyor belts), Camsa (conveyor belts), Warbel (transmissions), Fundicion San Cayetano (rollers), FEBI (auto parts), Liebherr (heavy duty trucks). OEMs from Brazil: Vulkan (drivers), Alstom (power gen), WesTech, (equipamentos industriais), Gasatex (bandas filtrantes continuas), Semco (equipamentos industriais) OEMs from Chile: Metalurgica Arancibia. We had meetings with the following mines: Gualcamayo, Pan American Silver, Tryton, Pirquitas, Aguilar, Sales de Jujuy, Fluorita Córdoba, Explotacion Minera San Agustin, Yamana, Minera Santa Cruz and Minera Alumbrera. General contacts: about 20 people more of different sectors also visited our booth and interested in UBC Bearings.
